Our North East Glasgow Recovery Hub is looking to recruit an enthusiastic and dynamic Team Leader to join the team based in Glasgow. Working closely with the Service Manager, you will supervise a team of staff, assist in caseload management and provide crucial day-to-day management support for our Recovery Workers.
We have a busy office base staffed by Recovery Workers, Recovery Champions and Volunteers but much of our work is carried out in the local communities that we serve.
This service is commissioned to provide a recovery service for people concerned about their own or someone else’s drug or alcohol use and delivers psycho social interventions in both one to one and group settings for adults entering or sustaining their recovery from drug/alcohol use.
What we are looking for
The successful candidate will have experience in the substance misuse field and ideally have previous team leading experience plus strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as a team player in a collaborative and supportive manner. He/she will be someone who thrives under pressure, has good time management and prioritisation skills and can work well with others. This role will provide a potential first step towards a full career in management.
In addition he/she will need to be positive, confident and well organised with experience of working with substance misuse service users in a health, social care or criminal justice setting.
An SVQ Level 3 in Adult Social Care is required as a minimum qualification.

This a permanent full time role for 37.5 hours per week.
