We have an exciting opportunity for Psychology graduates to join our Kent IAPT service, to support and enhance the psychological care of clients in our service. This a new role, and you will work closely with our clinicians, outreach workers and local management team to support clients accessing our service.
We are looking for a compassionate individual, who wants to work in a positive and supportive team, and whose ambition is to improve excellent client experience and access rates in our IAPT services.
This is an excellent opportunity to join our IAPT service, and whilst this is a non clinical role, it will provide a wealth of opportunities for those who are interested in a career path within IAPT.
What we’re looking for
We would love to hear from you if you have an upper class honours degree in Psychology or higher and if you have an understanding of the needs and difficulties of people with mental health difficulties or other disabilities.
An ability to work from an inclusive values base which respects diversity and promotes recovery is essential for this role. We are looking for someone with the ability to work within a team and who has the skills to foster good working relationships. Strong communication skills both verbal and written along with good IT skills will be essential for this post.
Although this role is within our Kent service, as this is a home working role we invite applicants from those living outside of Kent. But you will need to be willing to travel to Kent for meetings and community events as needed.

This is a fixed term (6 months) full time role for 37.5 hours per week although part time will be considered, this is primarily a home based role with occasional travel across Kent as required.
